If you mostly play on synthetic pitches, an AG outsole is the right call: shorter, more numerous studs, better distributed, for improved grip and less stress on the knees. In Canada, where a large share of adult pitches are synthetic, it's often the most cost-effective pair.

Why not FG cleats?

On turf, the fibres don't give the way soil does: a long stud scrapes instead of penetrating, wears out faster and grips poorly. An AG pair lasts longer and costs you less over time.

AG or turf (TT)?

The AG outsole targets new-generation long-fibre turf. The TT outsole, with its small rubber nubs, suits older fields and hard surfaces better.
