Return policy not great

I always wear size 11 running shoes ( for 30 years) These did not fit- me 2 fingers gap at the heel. So, I called saying this and asked to return them. They directed me to their website where I found that shoes on 40% off sale were not returnable. I would have paid for the postage, but no. Sorry, but other clothing companies let you return items that don’t fit. I will never buy from them again.
