Each garment is handmade, individually cut, sewn, hand-sewn, inspected and packaged by skilled team members who take pride in their craft. Just like in 2011... but bigger!
To make the headbands and other products, Watuko uses bamboo textile from manufacturers who adhere to strict ecological practices in the manufacturing of the textile and in all dyeing and printing processes. They choose factories that have modified the manufacturing process to recycle waste and have strict controls on exhaust emissions. All data is in compliance with government environmental protection standards. The bamboo used is also Oeko-Tex certified. In addition, bamboo does not require fertilizers, pesticides or irrigation to grow. It regenerates easily, grows faster than any other grass in the world and produces 3 times more oxygen than trees of comparable size.
In addition to the importance of a sustainable and environmentally friendly textile, Watuko products are above all easy to wear and useful, whether for sports and fitness enthusiasts, fashion or following hair loss. Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic, moisture wicking and quick drying. Woven with micro-perforations, bamboo is breathable and the fibers are naturally smooth and feel silky on your skin.
