Trail running, road & outdoor — Speedcross, Sense Ride, S/Lab

Salomon

Born in the French Alps in 1947, Salomon has become a benchmark in trail running and the outdoors. At Soccer Sport Fitness, we feature its range of trail running shoes, apparel and accessories, built for grip, protection and lightness on technical terrain.

Trail first

Salomon's strength is the trail. Its Contagrip outsoles bite into mud, rock and roots, and its Quicklace system tightens in one pull. Key lines: Speedcross (aggressive lugs for soft, muddy ground), Sense Ride (versatile and cushioned) and S/Lab (racing).

Road and training

Salomon also offers road and daily-training models with dynamic cushioning to log miles off the trail.

Apparel and accessories

Windbreakers and waterproof jackets, hydration packs and vests, gaiters: everything to gear up head to toe and run in any weather.

How do Salomon shoes fit?

Salomon often runs a little small and narrow, especially in the forefoot. If you have a wide foot or are between sizes, go up half a size. Try them on with your running socks.

Do Salomon shoes run big or small?

On the small, snug side. Many runners size up half a size from their usual, especially for trail where the foot swells over distance.

Which Salomon trail shoe should I choose?

The Speedcross for mud and soft ground (aggressive lugs), the Sense Ride for versatile, cushioned use, and the S/Lab line for racing. Pick based on terrain and distance.

Where are Salomon shoes made?

Production is mainly in Asia. Since 2021, some series are assembled in France at the Advanced Shoe Factory 4.0.

Are Salomon shoes good for the road?

Yes, Salomon offers road and training models, but the brand shines most on trail. For pure road running, compare with our other running brands.
