Fleece vests

Warm, light and breathable, they heat the core without overheating your arms. Ideal on their own in mid-season or as a mid-layer under a shell in cold weather.

Puffer vests

Down or synthetic insulation, often packable, for maximum warmth at minimum weight. The puffer vest slips into a bag and goes from the city to the trail.

When to wear a vest?

When you want to warm your core while keeping your arms free and well ventilated: cool walks, mild-weather runs, mid-season, or layered under a jacket in deep cold.

How to choose

  • Mid-season: a fleece vest or a light puffer to wear on its own.
  • Deep cold: a puffer vest as a mid-layer.
  • Running, effort: a breathable, trim model.
  • City, lifestyle: a cozy vest to pair with a sweater (Lolë).

Our brands

2XU for sport, Columbia for the outdoors and Lolë for lifestyle. Wear it over a sport layer or a mid-layer, and round it out with our jackets and windbreakers.

What is a vest for?

It warms your core (the centre of the body) while leaving your arms free and ventilated. Perfect in mid-season, during effort, or as a mid-layer under a jacket in deep cold.

Fleece or puffer vest?

A fleece vest is breathable and soft, ideal for effort and lifestyle; a puffer vest, insulated with down or synthetic, is warmer and packs down for travelling light.

Can I run in a vest?

Yes — it's a great option in mild or cool weather. It keeps your core warm without overheating your arms; choose a breathable, trim model.

How do I layer it?

Over a base layer or a sweater in mid-season; as a mid-layer under a shell or an insulated jacket in deep cold, for extra warmth at the core.

How do I choose my size?

Check the size chart specific to each brand and allow a little room if you plan to wear it over a sweater or a mid-layer.
