Soccer Equipment

Water bottles, sports bags, shin guards, head protection and accessories — Nike, Puma, Under Armour, Storelli.

Soccer equipment — the player's kit between matches

Beyond cleats, the ball and the jersey, every real player needs gear for transport, hydration and protection. Soccer Sport Fitness brings together 149 essentials: water bottles, sports bags, shin guards, head protection and accessories from brands we've carried for years. Nike (bottles), Puma (shin guards), Hydrapak (soft flasks), Under Armour (bags), Nathan, Storelli, Umbro, Full 90 and more.

Water bottles and hydration — Nike, Hydrapak, Under Armour, Nathan

Our biggest sub-category (58 models). Nike Refuel bottles (squeezable or locking-lid, 18 to 32 oz), large Under Armour Playmaker Jugs (32 and 64 oz) for the team bench, Hydrapak Flux soft flasks (750 ml to 1.5 L) that fold flat when empty, and Lolë insulated bottles. Built for the match and the bench.

Sports bags and backpacks — Under Armour Undeniable

The Under Armour Undeniable line (Duffle Small, Medium, Signature) is our bestseller for hauling the complete kit: jersey, shorts, socks, cleats, goalkeeper gloves, bottle. Backpacks for practice days, duffel bags for tournament weekends.

Shin guards — Puma Ultra and Attacanto

20+ shin guard models in stock, dominated by Puma (Ultra Light, Ultra Flex, Attacanto Sleeve). Sleeve versions (built-in sleeves that hold the shield in place without straps), strapped versions, and ankle-protection versions (Ultra Light Ankle) for players who want extra ankle support. Youth and adult sizes.

Head protection — Storelli ExoShield and Full 90

For players recovering from concussion or wanting to prevent head-to-head contact, we carry Storelli ExoShield headbands (Canadian brand) and Full 90 helmets. Recommended for young growing players and for veterans who want to keep playing safely.

Small accessories — player gloves, sleeves, bag deodorizers

Uhlsport Nitrotec player gloves for cold-weather matches (different from goalkeeper gloves), shin guard sleeves, bag deodorizers (essential when gear sits in the bag all week). And more as inventory rotates.

For cones, hurdles and agility ladders, browse our training accessories. For goalkeeper-specific gear, see our goalkeeper gear collection.

How do I choose shin guards for my child or myself?

Pick the length based on height: they should cover the shin bone without touching the knee or ankle. For kids or recreational players: sleeve models (Puma Attacanto Sleeve) — maximum comfort, slip-on application. For competitive players: lightweight Puma Ultra Light with strap. For extra ankle protection: the Ultra Light Ankle model with built-in ankle support.

What size soccer bag should I get?

Small backpack or duffel: for youth players and practices (carries cleats, bottle, snack). Medium duffel (Under Armour Undeniable 5.0): for an adult player carrying a full match kit. Large or Signature duffel: for long tournament weekends or if you also haul goalkeeper gear.

Which water bottle is best for soccer?

For training: a Nike Refuel squeezable bottle 24 or 32 oz is versatile — lightweight, squeezable, precise jet. For team bench or long sessions: a large Under Armour Playmaker Jug 32 or 64 oz with straw. For trail and travel: a Hydrapak Flux soft flask that folds flat when empty.

Do I need a soccer helmet or protective headband?

Not mandatory, but strongly recommended for: players recovering from one or more concussions, young players doing repeated headers in training, and defenders/keepers who take frequent head-to-head contact. The Storelli ExoShield (Canadian headband) and Full 90 are our most popular models — lightweight, discreet, compliant with most league rules.

What's the difference between sleeve and strapped shin guards?

Sleeve shin guards (Puma Attacanto Sleeve, Ultra Light Sleeve) are short socks with the shield built in — slip them on like a sock, no adjustment needed, no slipping. Ideal for youth and recreational players. Strapped (velcro) shin guards are more traditional — better raw protection, precise fit, but can slip if not tightened well. Competitive players often prefer straps.

Do you sell cones, hurdles and agility ladders for training?

Yes, but in a separate collection — see our cones, hurdles and agility ladders section. The Soccer Equipment collection focuses on player accessories (bottle, bag, shin guards, helmet). Coaching tools and training equipment (cones, mannequins, nets, storage bags) have their own collection.

How many water bottles do I need for a summer match?

For an adult player in hot weather (25°C+), plan for 1 to 1.5 L of water for a 90-minute match — that's a full 32 oz bottle, or two 18 oz. For kids: 500 ml to 750 ml is enough. Coach tip: a large Playmaker Jug 64 oz on the bench, shared with cups or individual bottles players refill.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes — we ship Canada-wide from Quebec with fast shipping. Free in-store pickup at our Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures boutique. For returns: 30 days from purchase on regular-priced items (item must be in new condition, tags intact, $12 return shipping fee). Exchanges are in-store only.
