How do ASICS shoes fit?
Most ASICS fit true to size, though the toe box can run a touch narrow. If you have a wide foot or are between sizes, go up half a size. Check the model's size chart and try them on with your running socks.

How does ASICS sizing compare to Nike?
ASICS generally runs slightly larger and wider than Nike, which tends to fit narrow. Going from Nike to ASICS, your usual size works in most cases; the reverse may call for going up half a size.

Are ASICS good running shoes?
Yes. ASICS is a running benchmark, known for its GEL cushioning and reliable support over the miles. The Gel-Kayano (support) and Gel-Nimbus (neutral) lines are among the most popular with runners.

What does ASICS mean?
ASICS is an acronym for the Latin phrase “Anima Sana In Corpore Sano”: a sound mind in a sound body. It's the founding philosophy of the Japanese brand.

Where are ASICS shoes made?
ASICS production is mainly in Asia (Vietnam, Indonesia, among others). Some premium series are designed in Japan, the brand's home.

How do I clean my ASICS?
Remove the laces and insole, brush off dry mud, then hand-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid the washer and dryer; air-dry away from any heat source.
